Previously, Turbomiser was used in other industry sectors. The manufacturer currently is targeting the chiller towards food and beverage companies, who are seeking achieve energy savings, reported Foodmanufacture.co.uk.
Turbomiser features a new type of compressor based on virtually frictionless magnetic bearings. According to Cool-Therm, when coupled with high efficiency EC (Electronically Commutated) fans and its onboard intelligent control system, the chiller can lower energy costs by more than 50%, compared to the conventional chillers.
This can help companies to cut pay-back time to less than a year, the company claimed.
