Ecolab, in association with Vidya Dairy, is organising a conference on 'Importance of Food Safety & Hygiene in Dairy Industry' on June 30, 2012, at Anand, Gujarat. Rahul Kumar Shrivastav, MD, Amul Dairy, will be the chief guest at the conference.
According to a press release by Ecolab , the company wants to create a platform for the industry members and key stakeholders wherein there is mutual interaction between the industry leaders and subject experts to overcome challenges and lead the industry to improved and technologically advanced hygiene solutions, improved operational efficiencies and cost savings.
Ron Pringle, GM&VP, Ecolab India, will give the opening note, whereas keynote address will be by Shrivastav of Amul. Sham Chaudhary, ex-GM, quality, GCMMF, will give presentation on hygiene and food safety concerns in a dairy plant, and B P Rao will give presentation on significance of cleaning solutions from equipment perspective. After his presentation, there will be open interaction with participants.
Peter Gatchell, technical specialist, dairy, Ecolab New Zealand, will talk on Ecolab global best practices in dairy, and Albert Lee, application manager, Ecolab Asia, will give presentation on improving productivity and operational efficiency with sustainable cleaning and sanitation programmes.
Anil Kumar, business manager, Ecolab India, will give presentation on making difference with specialty hygiene solutions, and Vivek Nair, industry technical consultant, Nalco, and Ecolab company, will address water-related challenges in the dairy industry. D R Shah, MD, Vidya Dairy, will address the closing of the conference.
