Core Tip: UK-based supermarket chain Sainsbury's has launched a new range of fruit-based snacks and smoothies specifically designed for children.
The fruit-based snacks include mini packs of Raisins & Blueberries; bite-sized Apricots; Fairtrade Strawberry; and Lemon Flavour Raisins.

The company has also introduced Orange & Mango and Strawberry & Banana smoothie pouches. The pouches are wrapped in bright packaging and also feature screwable tops, making them a useful travel option.

Sainsbury's noted that each product offers a healthy alternative to snacks like sweets or biscuits, but still provides the sweetness that will please the kids.

Founded in 1869, Sainsbury currently operates about 1,012 stores in the UK.
