Foodworld India's sixth edition to commence in Mumbai on September 26

We are delighted to inform that FICCI is organising the sixth edition of Foodworld India, a global convention on the food processing industry on September 26 and 27, 2012 at Hyatt Regency, Mumbai. The Government of Madhya Pradesh is the partner state for this year’s edition. Shivraj Singh Chauhan, chief minister, Madhya Pradesh, shall inaugurate the convention on September 26, 2012.

This annual global convention for food business and industry has evolved as the forum for originating thoughts for policy formulation as well as the mood reflector of the industry (www.ficcifwi.com). The last edition of Foodworld India 2011 was attended by more than 250 delegates, 50 speakers and a high power delegation from Germany.

Our endeavour is to bring together industry stalwarts and experts at FWI 2012 to share their vision and perspective with the delegates. Business delegations from several countries, including Canada, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Israel, are looking at the emerging Indian food market with great interest are expected to visit the event to explore business opportunities in food processing.
