One analysis found that the estimated direct healthcare cost of illness attributable to low consumption of dairy products is equivalent to $2.1 billion annually – or $11.7 billion when lost productivity was applied to the model.

The findings for the e-newsletter are selected and interpreted each month by members of the Dairy Research Institute's team of scientists.
