For more information: For reasons of preventive consumer protection, the food companies Panasia DE Handelsges.mbH calls from Oberursel back dried seaweed. The recall is a strong Iodine overdoses of the product. Already a consumption of about 1.5 g of the food, it is to exceed the maximum tolerable daily intake of high-iodine products. Consumption of excessive amounts of iodine can lead to thyroid disorders and is therefore to be regarded as harmful.
