Reed's has reported 26% increase in year to date (YTD) revenues to $22.3m against the same period last year.

In 2012, Reed's introduced Culture Club Kombucha line of organic live beverages.

Founder and CEO Chris Reed said that even though start up costs have resulted in minimal net income in the third quarter of 2012, they still have maintained profitability.

"The third quarter continues to see our top line growth expand at over 20% per quarter for the last three years," he added.

"In 2012, our two big growth drivers for the company were our branded and private label business. We have now created a third, and possibly the strongest, growth driver in our new line of Kombucha."

The company's non-alcoholic ginger brews are made using fresh ginger, spices and fruits in a brewing process that predates commercial soft drinks.

Reed's owns Virgil's Root Beer product line, a root beer line in natural foods, and China Cola product line.
