Harrods is recalling certain date codes of Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates because the products contain allergens that are not declared in the ingredients list. If you are allergic to or have an intolerance of wheat (gluten), nuts, milk or egg, do not eat this product. The Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.

Product details

The products being recalled are:

• Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates (Gold Paper Wrapped Box and Gold Ribbon), 227g, 454g and 680g

• ‘Best before’ date: 3 December 2012

• Leonidas Fresh Belgian Chocolates (Halloween Orange Wrapped Box, Black Ribbon and Small Plastic Pumpkin), 227g and 454g

• ‘Best before’ date: 20 December 2012

Harrods is recalling the above products from sale and will be contacting the relevant allergy support organisations who will inform their at-risk members of the recall. Customer notices will be displayed in stores explaining the actions consumers can take if they have bought any of these products.

No other Harrods products are known to be affected.
