Core Tip: Naturex was announced as NuW Excellence Awards finalist and has achieved highly commended status in the Sustainability & Environmental Initiative of the Year category by UBM plc main organiser of the Health Ingredients Europe event.
Close to 40 entries were received into the awards with submissions coming from mainland Europe, Taiwan, China and the United States. Chairman of judges Peter Wennstrom commented on the finalists: "The calibre of entries submitted and the level of interest in the 2012 NuW Excellence Awards programme was impressive."

For example the Naturex Foundation has refurbished in partnership with a local non-profit organization called E.M.A (Enfance Maghreb Avenir) association, a school located close to our factory in Casablanca (Morocco).

Antoine Dauby, Secretary of the Naturex Foundation stated: “We are pleased to see our efforts recognized this way. Our Foundation is one of the ways to shape our business in the best interests of the communities where we source our raw materials. This recognition is also a great homage to our former president and C.E.O., Mr Dikansky who passed away this year and created our Foundation.” In homage to Jacques Dikansky who passed away on 30 September 2012, the Board of Directors decided that the Naturex Foundation be renamed "Naturex Foundation-Jacques Dikansky".

The Naturex Foundation – Jacques Dikansky is an independent entity with its own resources, which supports in particular education, medicine, and basic necessities in communities from which Naturex derives plant materials, outside of any economic interest.

Building on the renowned Innovation Awards, the NuW Excellence Awards 2012 has recognised individuals and business for their exemplary work and contribution to the industry.

The awards have been judged by a leading panel of industry experts who evaluated the entry on its ability to demonstrate and drive innovation.

The judging panel is as follows:
