Cleveland-based Great Lakes Brewing Company (GLBC) and Oregon-based Deschutes Brewery in the US, have collaborated to celebrate their shared 25th anniversary.
As part of the partnership, both the breweries will brew Smoked Imperial Porter for Deschutes Brewery's class of '88 series.
Both the breweries will brew their own version using collaborative recipe, which will be available for a limited time in 22-ounce bottles and draft in May of 2013.
GLBC and Deschutes Brewery brew porters, which include Edmund Fitzgerald Porter and Black Butte Porter respectively.
The porter, which is one of three collaborative beers in Deschutes Brewery's class of '88 series, also includes collaborations with North Coast Brewing Company, Rogue Ales and Goose Island Beer Company.
