Harpoon Brewery is planning to unveil a beer hall and a visitor's center in mid-February 2013 at its brewery in 306 Northern Avenue, Boston, US.
The move is expected to facilitate the brewery to sell beers within its locality and accommodate more visitors.
Harpoon Brewery communications director Liz Melby was quoted by zagat as saying that the brewery had never been able to sell beer on the premise before.
"After 26 years it was time to make a space that would be more welcoming," Melby added.
The brewery will modify 6,000ft² office space on the second floor above Harpoon's corporate offices into beer hall and visitor's center.
The beer hall will have 250 seating capacity and a bar with18 taps to serve pints of beer brewed onsite.
