The event will open with a conference on the effects of the Euro Crisis and the Arab Spring on the production of foods in the Mediterranean. In addition to this a wide range of other subject will be covered, including changes in the fresh tomato sector; food safety; future trade agreements between the EU and Morocco and production of organic vegetables popular in Mediterranean dishes.
A new feature at this year's event will be a contest for the publicity, which offers entrants the chance to win prizes such as a free stand at the exhibition, an advertising insert, an audit by a communications agency and an advert in the MedFEL catalogue.
