Norwegian farmed cod producer Codfarmers on Wednesday announced it would de-list its shares from the Oslo Stock Exchange due to severe financial challenges.
Ownership of the company is concentrated, with 76 percent of the shares owned by board members, deputy board members, the CEO, the CFO and their respective close associates.
The market value of all shares in the company is currently less than NOK 50 million (USD 9 million, EUR 6.7 million), with around 150 shareholders own shares worth more than NOK 10,000 (USD 1,800; EUR 1,300).
