Rice Packaging Solutions, a US-based food and beverage packaging manufacturing company, has selected Epicor AVP, a business management software solution built for packaging operations.
Epicor AVP, designed specifically for folding carton manufacturers, will substitute Rice Packaging Solutions' DOS-based accounting program and homegrown operating system.
Rice Packaging Solutions CFO Bruce Frey said that the company was planning to replace the old system in order to meet the growing consumer demand.
"Our legacy systems were inefficient and we were constantly running into problems trying to integrate them with modern graphic design programs," added Frey.
Rice Packaging noted that the Epicor AVP offers strong overall functionality to meet the company's business requirements.
