The Bart Ingredients, a UK-based ingredient firm, has introduced Smokehouse Barbecue - a new range of specially designed barbecue products.
The new range features marinade rubs, seasoning mills and sauces. It combines recipes from across the world with quality and ease of use, the company said.
The new marinade rubs include Mediterranean Marinade Rub; Smokey Chipotle Marinade Rub; Tandoori Marinade Rub; Lemon & Sweet Pepper Marinade Rub; and New York Steak Marinade Rub.
The barbecue seasoning mills range includes Garlic Salt Mill; Mexican Style Chilli Mill; Moroccan Style Salt Mill; and Smokey Barbecue Mill. The new sauce range includes Kansas City Barbecue Sauce; South Carolina Mustard Sauce; and Texas Barbecue Sauce.
The rubs are available with a special marinade bag to lower the mess involved in covering raw meat and fish evenly with powdered ingredients.
According to the company, the sauces can be used as a marinade before cooking or as an accompaniment at the table, while the seasoning mills add flavour throughout the cooking and eating process.
Bart CEO David Collard said that each product in the Smokehouse Range is easy to use at every stage of cooking and has a range of applications to offer great value and extend use.
"Following on from our rebrand last year, we want to demonstrate that we do more than great single ingredients. We can offer customers shopping the herb and spice aisle an exciting range of products that offer breadth and depth of flavours to complement the food people want to cook today," Collard added.
The full range will be available at Ocado from the end of June and a selection of the rubs and mills will be in store at all Waitrose branches from 2 June. They will also be available through independents, and delicatessens around the country. The rubs are priced at £1.49, the sauces at £2.99 and the mills at £3.99.
