Core Tip: FSANZ invites written submissions on a draft variation to the Code arising from the following Application by 6pm (Canberra time) 23 September 2013:
This Notification Circular includes notices that are required to be given to the public, submitters and appropriate government agencies, under the Food Standards Australia New Zealand Act 1991 (FSANZ Act).

General procedure

FSANZ invites written submissions on a draft variation to the Code arising from the following Application by 6pm (Canberra time) 23 September 2013:

• A1077 – Fungal Chitosan as a Processing Aid: to permit the use of fungal chitosan from Aspergillus niger as a processing aid for a number of purposes including as a fining and clarifying agent in the manufacture of wine, beer, cider, spirits and food-grade ethanol.
