o sponsor the first Irish Quality Food and Drink Awards, representing a collaboration between Food and Hospitality Ireland (formerly SHOP) and The UK Quality Food and Drink Awards, which have been in existence for over 35 years. Commenting on the decision to sponsor the Irish QFA event, Nikki Clark, Marketing Manager at Benson Group, said, “The Quality Food Awards enjoy an excellent profile in the UK, and certainly provide superb marketing collateral for category winners. We have worked with Helen Lyons and the Quality Awards team for several years now, and so we are delighted to have the opportunity to extend our relationship with them to the launch of the Irish version of the awards.”
The presentation of the awards takes place at Dublin's Mansion House on 18 September, 2013.

The business manufactures packaging product at four production sites covering in excess of 400,000 sq ft, with a total of 900 employees.
Food product manufacturers are the main customers at Bardon and for the company’s two North East facilities in Newcastle and Gateshead. The fourth site in Crewe serves healthcare and consumer care markets.
