U.S.-based seafood processor Trans-Ocean Products has named Export Packers Co. as its sales agent for all of the company’s Canadian markets, the company said in a release.
Export Packers, based in Brampton, near Toronto, will represent Trans-Ocean’s surimi seafood products to retail and foodservice markets in Canada.
“They are the premier seafood supplier in this important market and offer high level logistics and other support services to Trans-Ocean,” Lou Shaheen, Trans-Ocean’s VP of marketing and sales, said of Export Packers. “We look forward to building a long-lasting partnership with them.”
Trans-Ocean said the new partnership allows the company to expand its Canadian business.
