Just BARE, a US-based natural chicken brand, has added new cuts and larger package sizes to its fresh retail line.
The new fresh retail items include a small pack of bone-in thighs (1.25lbs) and family-pack sizes of hand-trimmed boneless skinless chicken breast fillets, drumsticks, bone-in thighs, bone-in split breasts, and wingettes and drummettes (wing portions).
The products are priced in the range of $3.29 per package for the smaller pack of bone-in thighs to $12.99 per package for the family pack boneless skinless breast fillets.
The company stated that all the products are traceable to independent family farms and third-party certified by the American Humane Certified Farm Program.
Just BARE brand advocacy and marketing director Julie Berling said that most-recent addition to the brand's fresh retail line meets a growing demand for premium natural chicken suitable for more diverse culinary applications and family sizes.
Just BARE product line, launched in early 2009, is distributed by Minnesota-based GNP, and has since then grown to more than 30 fresh and frozen items for the retail, deli and foodservice markets.
