Seattle Fish Co. on Monday announced it acquired Colorado-based Mountain Valley Fish & Oyster.
Mountain Valley Fish & Oyster caters primarily to high-end restaurants in western Colorado.
“We look forward to continuing the good work and community involvement of Mountain Valley Fish & Oyster, all the while bringing our 95 years of passion, service, quality, and customer service to the region.” said James Iacino, Seattle Fish Co. president and CEO. “Strategically this acquisition allows Seattle Fish to expand our reach into the Western Slope and better partner with those customers in providing globally sourced seafood to discriminating consumers.”
The transition went in effect Monday morning. Mountain Valley Fish & Oyster employees will work out of the same facilities in Montrose under the employment of Seattle Fish Co. All operations will be conducted as Seattle Fish Co.
