Sainsbury’s, a UK-based retailer, is recalling its own brand Chicken Paella Meal Soup as it contains milk which is not mentioned on the label, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) said.

The product subject to recall is by Sainsbury's Chicken Paella Meal Soup of 400g featuring 'Use by' date 18 November 2013.

Sainsbury's has withdrawn the affected product from sale and displayed notices in stores, regarding the product recall. No other products are known to be affected.

In addition, it contacted the relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the withdrawal.

Consumers intolerant to milk or its constituents have been advised not to eat the product and instead return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
