Core Tip: New Zealand based food manufacturer Mr Beak has launched a new range of sausages, meatballs and burger patties made from premium beef or chicken for children.
New Zealand bameat productssed food manufacturer Mr Beak has launched a new range of sausages, meatballs and burger patties made from premium beef or chicken for children.

The entire range is free from MSG, artificial colours, artificial flavours and is low in preservatives. In addition, the company has also created a range of gluten free products.

Graeme Laurence, general manager of Beak NZ said that new range was created due to the increasing demand for high quality convenience food for children.

"Kiwi parents are better informed than ever before and are demanding a better quality product at the checkout and we have a responsibility to ensure that what we produce for our children is as wholesome as possible," Laurence.

"Along with leaving out the nasties like MSG and artificial colours we are proud to have boosted our products with Omega 3 essential fatty acids. This, along with additional fibre and reduced sodium, has seen us ensure our products are a better choice by far for New Zealand children and their families."

Included in the new range of products is the new Tomato Sauce Beef Sausages which are made with Watties Tomato Sauce and contain no artificial colours or flavours and are also gluten free.

“We believe that food should not only be delicious but it should be healthy too,” says Laurence.

“We strive to ensure our products encapsulate that philosophy from pasture to plate by using only fresh, high quality ingredients."
