The restrictions will allow certain heat treated sealed pig meat products in to the CU countries as well as long aged fermented and matured products and long aged hams and loins.
All the products have to be accompanied by an appropriate veterinary certificate and the restrictions which also abn all other pig meat products as well as live pigs and semen will remain in place until the Russian veterinary authorities and the European Commission can agree terms for regionalisation.
