Public Consultation on Draft Aquaculture Standards Now Open

Zoom in font  Zoom out font Published: 2014-02-11
Core Tip: Until 18 March, any citizen may make suggestions and propose changes in four projects aimed at aquaculture standards.
Organized by the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT), these documents were drafted by experts in the field and aim to create a seal of quality for producers of tilapia, tambaqui and bivalve molluscs.

"It is very important that the fish farmers, producers of molluscs, experts in the area and interested in the subject access proposals and give opinions for those documents to be enhanced," said Patricia.
