Pot Noodle is strengthening its offering by rolling out a new Brazilian BBQ Steak flavour.
Available to all retailers from mid-April and supported by a £2 million marketing campaign, the new variant aims to capitalise on the anticipated increased exposure for Brazilian flavours in 2014 and tap into the growing demand for Pot Snacks.
Monique Rossi, Pot Noodle Marketing Manager said: “Brazilian food means two things to our Pot Noodle lads – steak and BBQ.
“By launching a tasty new flavour that epitomises typical Brazilian foods, we’re appealing to our core audience of 16-24 year old guys with an easy way to get the Brazilian BBQ experience.
“We anticipate that the launch of an iconic Brazilian flavour into our portfolio will drive interest in the Pot Noodle brand from our loyal fan base and generate sales for retailers.”
An on-pack promotion will also run from mid-April, giving consumers the chance to win Brazilian themed prizes across the new Brazilian BBQ Steak as well as the top four flavours (Chicken & Mushroom, Beef & Tomato, Original Curry and Bombay Bad Boy).
Pot Noodle BBQ Steak will feature vibrant packaging in line with Brazil’s national colours with BBQ cues on pack.
Available in cases of 12, it has an RRP of £1.09 per unit.
