Kancor America, a division of Kancor Ingredients Limited, (Cochin India) opened the doors to their North American application labs at Rutgers University Food Innovation Center-North location. The USDA and FDA inspected facility is 31,000 SQ FT and hosts a range of key lab and pilot plant equipment to support customer product development efforts in sweet, savory and beverage applications.
Nick Nikola, General Manager of Kancor America states “having these capabilities brings Kancor much closer to the product development process of our customers. It allows for mutual learning and ultimately lower costs, as the product development process is shortened by working more closely and efficiently together.”
Kancor America’s opened their corporate office in 2013. The office houses sales, marketing, supply chain, logistics and customer service functions.
Kancor Ingredients Limited was established in 1911. The firm has been doing business in North America since 1969 and offers such ingredients as spice oleoresins, natural food colors, essential oils and specialty flavors.
