A new line of ice cream called Escapes was introduced from Akron, N.Y.-based Perry’s Ice Cream Co. The line features 20 flavors (eight in pints and 12 in quarts), including Nutty Pistachio (pistachio ice cream with almond pieces); and Cocoa-Nut Bliss (coconut ice cream with fudge-coated almonds, fudge chunks and coconut shreds). The suggested retail price is $3.49 for pints and $5.99 for quarts. The ice cream is sold in New York, Western Pennsylvania and small format stores throughout New England.
