AQUA Carpatica has introduced new nitrate-free sparkling mineral and still spring varieties of water in the US.
The company has obtained new mineral and spring waters from the Carpathian Mountains located in the Eastern Europe. Water has been sourced from two springs situated over 200m underground.
Naturally sparkling mineral water has been sourced from the Paltinis aquifer, while the spring water is obtained from the Bajenaru aquifer.
AQUA Carpatica parent company Valvis Holding president and general director Jean Valvis said: "We are so proud to be the first brand to bring nitrate-free sparkling mineral water to the US consumer, offering an alternative to the hidden nitrates found in existing water brands.
"Like Sprouts, we are a brand committed to the health and safety of our customers, and we will work passionately towards raising awareness regarding questions related to the content of drinking water both in the U.S. and around the world."
Harvested at the surface using environmentally friendly technology, the still spring water is free from impurities with a very low nitrate concentration.
The new varieties of water are currently available at Sprouts Farmers Market Stores and plans to make them available across the country soon.
