Carlton and United Breweries (CUB) have issued a food recall for a batch of its popular Carlton Dry beer.
The recall is for Carlton Dry 355ml bottles with the best before dates of 19/07/2016 and 20/07/2016 that feature a 3 on cartons or 3A or 3B on bottles after the best before date.
CUB said the recall is related to the packaging of the product.
“There may be an issue with one batch of stock as a result of packaging the product. This sort of thing is rare but we take the quality of our beers seriously,” CUB said.
“This relates to one production run in Yatala, Queensland during October,” CUB further stated.
Concerned retailers can contact CUB’s Consumer Relations team on 1800 007 282. Concerned customers can contact CUB’s Customer Contact Centre on 132 337.
CUB is owned by South African beverage giant SAB Miller.
