Lebanese cuisine, a favourite around the world, was relatively unknown to Mumbai till Falafel’s, the Lebanese Haus, brought it home. Now, the Lebanese chain is taking its next step in the island city by opening its latest outlet this month at one of the most premium locations – High Street Phoenix at Lower Parel.

Going with this development, the menu has been spruced up to include even more delights, new flavours and tempting combos. One can choose from a world of delightful falafels. The Original Falafel is the classic version with garden greens, creamy hummus & spicy schug sauce, just like the Lebanese have it. If one likes to try variations to the classic version, one can try some of the falafels with a global twist like American Cheesy Falafel, Mexican Falafel, Greek Falafel, Desi Falafel, Hot & Spicy Falafel and the Chinese Chili Falafel.

Meat lovers can enjoy Shish Taouk Chicken Pocket and the Cheesy Chicken Pocket. All the falafels come in a choice of regular, whole wheat, honey oat or cumin cilantro pita pocket.

Exotic Hummus Platters are a must-try. They come in alluring flavours like Original, Piri Piri, Basil and Sun Dried Tomato, Cumin and Cilantro, Fiery Smoked, Hummus with Falafels and Hummus with Chicken Shish Taouk. Then there are Mezze Platters, Turkish Pide Pizzas, and Fattoush for a taste of the varied platter of the region. For quick bites, there are Grande Nachos, Zaatar Pita, Turkish Tostada, Crazy Fries and Pizza Sambusac. Also there are fresh wraps, delectable shawarmas and refreshing dips. If one is looking for a whole meal, one can choose from Cool Combos that offer mains, appetisers and a drink for a great price. It can be topped up with Chocolate Nachos.

Announcing the launch of their latest outlet, Dhaval Udeshi, brand head, Falafel’s, said, “Falafel’s has always been about bringing a world of exotic Lebanese cuisine to Indian consumers. We take immense pride not just in sourcing the freshest ingredients, but also in the efforts we take to innovate and bring a world of choices to our consumers. The price point remains competitive, making us the only Lebanese QSR with such high levels of patronage and footfalls. It’s perhaps this sincerity and innovation that has made us so popular with our patrons that we’re opening our fifth outlet in Mumbai. Very soon, we would also be spreading our wings and launching our first outlet in Bengaluru at the start of 2016. We invite everyone to savour the fresh new delicacies at the High Street Phoenix outlet. A spanking new menu in a brand new outlet is always a great idea!”
