Safe Chain Solutions, a division of Benchworks Co., purchased a 6.29-acre, 15,000-square-foot building situated at the Cambridge, Md., headquarters for office, distribution and warehouse space.
The purchase of this building is part of an expansion plan and offers the possibility of building out additional space as necessary. The new facility is expected to bring in new jobs for logistics coordinators, accounting, IT and account managers.
“Purchasing our headquarters in Cambridge, Md., gives us a core foundation where we can continue to expand the business. It allows us to plant our roots in this growing community, while also increasing and enhancing the services that we provide to our clients,” says Charles Boyd, president.
