A new smartphone controlled gadget, called the Alchema Brewer, promises to let you turn your old fruit into something enjoyable. You can put a wide variety of fruits such as apples, grapes, pears - you name it - and booze is the outcome.
The device can take up to two weeks to ferment however, so users are going to have to be patient. Using the app, users can set how sweet they want the final product and get notified when their tasty brew is ready.
