Lords Organics is recalling Ginger Powder from AGF Organic Veda because it may be contaminated with Salmonella bacteria. The product was distributed through amazon.com online sales, delivered through the mail. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.
The product is Organic Veda’s Ginger Powder with codes: Batch No: A324DGRP, MFD: AUG 2015, Best Before: July 2017 in 16 Oz clear jar with red color lid, manufactured by AGF Ltd. The company has ceased distribution of the product and is investigating.
If you purchased this product, do not use it. Throw it away in a sealed or double bagged package or return it to the retailer for a full refund.
