Stefano’s Foods in North Carolina is recalling about 981 pounds of Stromboli because they contain eggs, one of the major food allergens, that is not declared on the label. Anyone who is allergic to eggs could have a serious reaction if they eat this product. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

The recalled product is 18.5-ounce boxes containing two pieces of SCREAMIN’ SICILIAN PIZZA CO. STROMBOLI SUPREMUS MAXIMUS PEPPERONI & ITALIAN SAUSAGE with an “Enjoy by: 2/19/2018” date and lot code of 70010117517. This product has the establishment number “EST. 19140” inside the USDA mark of inspection. They were shipped to a distribution center in Wisconsin.

If you purchased this product and are allergic to eggs, don’t eat it. Throw it away or take it back to the store where you bought it for a full refund.
