The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) reports that Commonwealth Dairy, LLC has issued a recall for two lots of its “FRIENDLY FARMS KEY LIME CRUNCH TILTS.” This product, distributed to Aldi stores in the states of California, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, and Wisconsin, may contain almonds that were not declared on its labeling.

The product affected by the recall was packaged in green and white double-compartment, 5.3-ounce plastic cups; one compartment contains 1.5% Milkfat Key Lime Greek Yogurt and the other is filled with white carob chunks and graham pieces. Two lots have been recalled: Lot #A8872 XXXX (Best By date: AUG/26/2017 04-161) and Lot #A5003 XXXX (Best By date: SEP/22/2017 04-161). Both lots are stamped with the UPC code 041498239091.

Individuals who are allergic to almonds run the risk of life-threatening anaphylactic shock if they consume this yogurt product. Packages should be returned to their place of purchase for a refund or thrown away.
