Local producers of pumpkin seed oil have come up with something special: This summer they are visiting all the state capitals and the federal capital - and they are bringing extraordinary ice cream flavors with them, like pumpkin seed, Hirschbirne or organic apple. "This way we are surprising all gourmets with these tasty treats and taste experiences," says president of the Chamber of Agriculture Franz Titschenbacher. He adds: "With this Ice-Surprise-Tour we are bringing the regionally typical delicacies of Styria to all of the country."
Free Tasting for Gourmets
Graz is already the seventh stop of the Ice-Surprise-Tour. Before, the initiators visited Vienna, Linz, Parndorf, St. Pölten, Klagenfurt and Salzburg. On August 24th they are moving on to Innsbruck and on the 31st they will be in Dornbirn. The last stop is Vienna again (the shopping center Wien Mitte) on September 7th. Samples of the different flavors are free of charge for all visitors of the Ice-Surprise-Tour. They will be open from 11am to 3pm in all of the state capitals.

Styrian pumpkin seed oil, Pöllauer Hirschbirne and styrian organic apples of the brand "Von Herzen Biobauern" are very popular. This is one of the main reasons to use these regional delicacies which are completely different, just for a change - as a refreshing, thirst-quenching ice cream. These flavors received a new make-over with local milk.
