Two students from Thailand have teamed up to invent a durian test needle that detects the maturity of durians. It is reported that the durian test needle can be inserted into the durian skin to quickly and accurately detect the maturity of the fruit, and the success rate reached 100%. The durian test needle has green, yellow and red scales.
If the pointer is in the green area, the durian is ripe; if it stops in the yellow area, it indicates near ripeness, while the red area indicates that it is still unripe. At present, the Rayong Durian Production Group is prepared to sign an agreement to purchase 50 durian test pens. The original price of the test pens was 1000 baht each, and the Rayong Durian Production Group purchased them at a high price of 3,900baht/a piece.
