This new design features a smaller overall footprint as well as improvements to the system design that make cleaning and maintenance even easier. Utilizing the same unique paneling technology as the full-sized V2413 Mosaic XL Paneled, the V2410 Mosaic Paneled system performs high-speed label inspections on round, unoriented products such as yogurt containers, including graphical identification, barcode reading, OCR and OCV, all of which identify mislabeling before a package can leave the facility. An optional seventh overhead camera captures production and other codes printed on container lids.
Utilizing six cameras, the V2410 captures multiple angles of the complete product surface, reducing image distortion and allowing the system to obtain the best possible views for its inspections. The V2410’s software assembles the “paneled” views of the container label into a single, complete 360-degree view.
The V2410’s small footprint enables is accomplished by mounting the six cameras vertically, rather than facing directly toward the target containers, and using mirrors to capture the images. Also, a freestanding tunnel design allows the system to fit over an existing conveyor.
The V2410 runs on the latest CI-Vision inspection software—CIVCore 11—which allows users to view real-time statistics and data on the system's performance and requires only a few screen touches to make a changeover.
