The distinguishing trait of this mechanical weeding is the extendable wire system, which allows you to work not only close to the trunks without causing damages, but also in proximity of drip irrigation systems.

The wires are very flexible and this allows almost a total cleaning even in the area near the trunks. This is useful not only in organic farming, but also in integrated pest management, as the use of herbicides is becoming increasingly restricted. The hood-shaped cover secures the wire in a special position to prevent contact with the trunk.
It is available in the double version, which allows you to work only once for each row, reducing working time and fuel consumption. Bio Rotor operates with a rapid rotary movement (2.000 revolutions per minute) of the brush cutters, on a non horizontal level (like traditional brush cutters), but vertical. This minimizes possible damages to plant trunks during weed control.
