The Wolf Pro transplanter was developed for professional use on crops with mulching films such as strawberries, melons, watermelons, tomatoes, salads, vegetables in general and hemp, but it can also be used on soils with no mulching films.

"Wolf Pro is suitable for conical, pyramid and cubic plant peat plugs measuring 8 cm max and is equipped with a distribution system boasting 1 to 8 cups for a row transplanting distance between 25 cm and 2 meters," reports the company.

Four different types of cups are available depending on the shape and size of the root system. In particular, there are two conical cups and two flat-based cups.

One of its main distinctive factors is the possibility to adjust the opening of the cups via a system of sliding cams. This enables varying the size of the hole on the film depending on the type and size of plugs.

The distance between rows is adjustable from a minimum of 50 cm (30 cm for the Compact version) and is therefore suitable for all double row cultivations on films, also with biodegradable materials and with drip irrigation.

"The machine is equipped with an innovative synchronized electric irrigation device that has the purpose of wetting the plants with an adjustable quantity of water, reducing stress and hastening rooting. A mechanical control guarantees the synchronicity of the water jet with the position of the plants, while a solenoid valve activates an electric pump injecting the water.

Operators face away from the tractor so as to keep the weight closer to the three-point coupling. In addition, the seat is fixed to the frame so as not to stress the transplant units near the compactor wheels and especially in the presence of mulching films.

Transplant units are equipped with a parallelogram to adapt to the different soil conditions without losing earthing up incidence and stressing the mulching material. A practical pair of crank-adjusted transversal springs makes the single units lighter or heavier depending on the weight of single operators.

Another unique feature is the innovative system to replace the cups via the practical windows with sliding casings on the sides of the transplant units. The number of cups and therefore the transplant interval can be changed using just 2 socket-head screws.

A different number of cups leads to a different transplant distance, so 8 cups mean 8 different distances. The result is that you always work with the optimal transplant distance, i.e. the one that "tears" the mulching film less.
