This spring, Rovema Benelux acquired Innotech and packaging company Prins Verpakkingstechniek. "That's tremendously increased our chances of offering our customers suitable solutions. For example, a worldwide team of approximately 750 people has been added. They have a wealth of experience and technical solutions," says Jan Strijbos.
"That's areas like end-of-line packaging (case packing and cartoning). We've also gained an extensive database of materials that have already been tested. We now have detailed information about how to configure a machine to pack products in a particular material. That's before we even begin a project."
"We now not only have higher output and expansive training opportunities. We can also offer increased technological solutions and global services. All from a company that has established sustainability. We care about the planet and future generations. That's a top focal point in our long-term vision for the future," Jan explains.
Rovema Benelux will be at Interpom in Kortrijk, Belgium. They will be at Stand 140, from November, 28 to 30. Interpom is Europe's largest indoor potato trade show. "Geery Peters van Ton, Tias Bosch, Eelco van Diggelen, and I would love to see you there."
"At that event, we can tell you all about the 'new' organization. As well as our sustainable packaging options. We'll also be presenting the Innotech Revo 3800. It processes perforated paper, so you can use it to pack products like potatoes. But, it can also process mono PE material. And you don't even have to change things like the sealing jaws. The bagging machine shown can process up to 130 bags/minute using pillow paper bags," Jan concludes.
