Mumbai to host FICCI-organised Annapoorna-World of Food India

According to the organisers, the main highlights of Annapoorna - World of Food India is, it is a huge show which presents the best and exclusive range of food and beverage items.

Exhibitor Profile

World of Food India 2012 will display the products of 169 companies. The exhibited product range will comprise alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks; bread and baked products; conserves; spices; fine, health and baby foods; food additives and ingredients; fish, shellfish and seafood products; frozen food products; fruit and vegetable products; grocery products; meat and poultry; milk, dairy products and ice cream; raw material; rice and rice products and sweets and confectionery.

Visitor Profile 

Professionals from various sectors related to the food industry are likely to visit the exhibition. There will be a total of 6,295 attendees coming from all over the world. There will be professionals from airlines; bakeries; clubs and resorts; departmental stores; fast food chains; food caterers; food manufacturers; food service institutions; hotels; restaurants; bars; importers; distributors; wholesalers and retailers; packaging and distribution centers; supermarkets; grocery and convenience stores; cash and carry markets and hypermarkets.

Previous edition


In the previous edition, the show observed the participation of more than 169 exhibitors coming from 17 countries and they played the host to over 6,295 attendees representing 41 countries. Among the total attendee count, 68 per cent were from the local market, 28 per cent were from the Indian market and four per cent came from overseas. The conference sessions was the highlight of the show and was also one of the reasons for the huge crowd witnessed at the exhibition. The eight international pavilions at last year's event represented Canada, Columbia, Germany, Korea, South Africa, Spain, Tunisia and the USA.
