Core Tip: Danish Crown announced Kasper Lenbroch will be the new chief executive officer of Tulip Food Company.
Lenbroch worked for Tulip from 2003 to 2008, according to Danish Crown. During that period, he held positions as Domestic Market Director and later as Nordic Retail Director. He left Tulip to become CEO of Rieber & Son Denmark which is known for its K-Salat and Bahncke brands.

"I have no doubt that Kasper Lenbroch is the right choice as CEO of Tulip," said Kjeld Johannesen, chairman of Tulip and CEO of Danish Crown. "He is highly qualified to run Tulip and he has extensive experience from large food companies. From Kasper's previous employment in Tulip we know that we will have a CEO who manages to encourage the employees, and this is obviously a very important quality."

Tulip Food Company employs 2,200 and has 10 factories, according to Danish Crown. The company produces and sells bacon, sausages, soups, ready meals and a variety of other products. Tulip is wholly owned by Danish Crown.

"Tulip is one of the largest and most exciting food companies in Denmark, and I was proud to be employed in Tulip," Lenbroch said. "Therefore, it has been a dream for me to get the responsibility for Tulip’s continued development and I am very pleased that I have been chosen for this job."
