Kim Rucker has been named executive vice-president of corporate and legal affairs at Kraft Foods North America, effective in late August. Ms. Rucker most recently was senior vice-president, general counsel, corporate secretary and chief compliance officer for Avon Products, Inc. Prior to joining Avon, she was senior vice-president, corporate secretary and chief governance officer for Energy Future Holdings, formerly TXU Corp. Earlier, she was corporate counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corp. and a partner in the Corporate & Securities group at Sidley Austin in Chicago. Upon the launch of Kraft Foods Group, Inc. later this year, Ms. Rucker will become executive vice-president of corporate and legal affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary. She received a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Iowa, a master’s degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, and a juris doctorate from Harvard Law School.
