Core Tip: US drug store chain Rite Aid plans to carry a line of natural food options across all its stores in the country.
The company will carry Wholesome Goodness, a natural food brand which stresses on the use of whole grains and fibers, and emphasizes the avoidance of sugars, salt and fat content.

Rite Aid noted that 126 ingredients are banned from WG's products altogether - these include artificial additives, sweeteners, high fructose corn syrup and trans fats, among others.

Wholesome Goodness line features 25 food items, including chips, trail mix, cereal, juice, and various sauces. Each product is made of all-natural ingredients, the company said.

Rite Aid, founded in 1962 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, has more than 4,700 store locations across the country.
