The Coca-Cola Company has announced a number of new leadership appointments to support its new global operating structure, and said the changes were intended to 'streamline reporting lines' and intensify the focus on key markets.
Coke said its new structure would consolidate leadership of global operations under the Bottling Investments Group and two large, but similar-sized geographic regions.
"The intention is to streamline reporting lines, intensify focus the on key markets and create a structure that leverages synergies and provides flexibility to adjust the business within these geographies in the future," the firm said.
