Canada Corrugated and Containerboard Association is the new name for Paper Packaging Canada.
The name was changed after a resolution by its Board of Directors, and after having received all required legal and regulatory approvals.
The association aims to advance competitiveness of the Canadian corrugated and containerboard industry through sustainability, protecting health and safety of stakeholders and to communicate this to our customers, governments and the public.
David Andrews, executive director of the association, said the new name was chosen to more precisely describe the business areas of its member companies.
“It will more accurately reflect the nature and scope of our members' business interests while supporting the focus of the organization's mandate and mission.”
Members include Kruger, Norampac, RockTenn, Bobst Group, CTI and Sun Chemical.
