NAFARI (National Agriculture & Food Analysis & Research Institute), Pune, is going to conduct a one-day training programme on Food Safety & Standards Act (FSSA), 2006, on October 16, 2012, at its premises.
The programme will touch upon the following topics: Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Regulations, 2011; Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, Toxins and Residues) Regulations, 2011; Food Safety and Standards (Laboratory and Sample Analysis) Regulations, 2011; and Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulations, 2011.
According to a press note, the programme can be attended by those belonging to senior and middle management, professionals from production, planning, quality, R&D, maintenance, supply chain, stores and HR department.
The faculty for the programme will include Vinay Oswal, director, NAFARI. An all-inclusive of Rs 1,600 will be charged from participants and certificates will be issued to them in recognition of their participation.
