This action has been initiated following a following a recall by Creative Energy Foods. The products subjected for the recall include those bearing UPC codes 75365670861, 75365670843, 75365670879 with best by dates 06-22-13, 07-18-13 and 07-13-13 respectively.

Customers who have purchased the above products have been advised to discard or return them to Stop & Shop for a full refund.

No illnesses have been reported associated with the recall till date.

Consumption of food contaminated with Salmonella can cause salmonellosis, one of the most common bacterial foodborne illnesses. The most common manifestations of salmonellosis are diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and fever within eight to 72 hours. Additional symptoms may be chills, headache, nausea and vomiting that can last up to seven days.
