Market of Choice, based in Eugene, Ore., is recalling its Gourmet Take Away Sesame Noodle Salad Vegan, because it contains undeclared egg. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggrun the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume this product.
The Gourmet Take Away Sesame Noodle Salad Vegan, packaged in 8 oz and 16 oz containers, was sold at Market of Choice stores in Ashland, Eugene, Bend, Corvallis, Portland and West Linn in Oregon between July 30, 2018 through Sept. 7, 2018.
 
The 8 oz. (UPC 0211630203994) and 16 oz. (UPC 0 211637 807492) containers have the Sell By dates of 8/4/18 through 9/13/18.
 
No illnesses have been reported to date.
 
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that product containing egg was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of egg. This recall is being made with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
 
Customers who purchased the Sesame Noodle Salad Vegan with the affected sell by dates and have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg are urged not to consume product and should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
